No big plans here either. Somehow or another I got volunteered to watch my two nephews, (2 months and 3.5 years old) and my son for a few hours tomorrow afternoon. I will probably spend Sunday recovering.

Nothing here. DH is home in Chicago for the weekend, I'm off tomorrow but open Sunday. Our friends have a wedding to go to so I'll probably just chill at home. Lol.
Our local kitchen supply store is doing a SodaStream demo tomorrow.
Depending on the condition of the floor in my bedroom, I might go in there to demo the old closet and paint the interior. I'm allowed to move furniture back in there starting Monday, so it should be okay to walk on for the purpose of painting by Sunday, I would think.
I am in awe of how super active you are for being third tri with twins! Crazy awesome. Didn't you say you're 30 weeks? I just took a 22 wk picture yesterday and I am still in shock at how big I feel like I'm getting, and so fast. Even for it being a 2nd pregnancy. I'm happy with the weight gain, though. SO I suppose that's what's important.
Friends are having a big party tomorrow so I'm anticipating Sunday will be a hungover, recovery day.
BLT-will your DH be in the burbs or the city this weekend?? My brother and a few friends live downtown and are getting out of the city this weekend because of the NATO summit. They're afraid their buildings could go on lockdown and don't want to chance it!

Both. He's staying out in the burbs but he's drilling in Cicero. They have all the guard units drilling this weekend "just in case." He's apparently the night shift NCOIC since they're monitoring what goes on 24/7. It's straight up craziness. When DH booked his flight the lady told him to make sure when he flies out of Midway on Monday to get to the airport really early. I'm slightly glad I didn't have to go back this weekend.

Hopefully nothing happens and everyone stays safe! My parents have tickets to see Jersey Boys and are taking the train in on Saturday. They're nuts. My brother and I tried talking them out of it, but we'll see.

Not much going on for me. I have a job fair to go to tomorrow morning. I'm hoping to clean out some of our stuff in storage for our upcoming garage sale.
I'm getting my hair done tomorrow afternoon and I'm so excited. It's been forever since I had it done by someone who knows what they're doing. I have a crap ton of stuff to do before we head out for DH's graduation. I got a text from DH earlier saying that his parents surprised him and are already at his location. He didn't sound too thrilled. I hope to God they don't think they can pull that ish on me and drive here to surprise us too. I'm really annoyed that they pretty much lied to me since I asked them 2 days ago when they were planning on leaving. They must have left that night or the next morning! I was already annoyed that they invited themselves to visit with us after his graduation too. They said DH invited them, but that too, was a lie. They're staying at a hotel but I have a feeling they'll end up at our house by the weekend. GAH! I'm trying to just focus on DH and his (huge) accomplishment but frig, why do they have to be so annoying??

midway is way better. we were supposed to go to Chicago for a wedding this weekend. glad we nixed that!
Family time and getting my eyebrows done tomorrow, and then Sunday H and the kids are leaving for our nephew's high school graduation. I'm following midweek, and am beyond excited at the prospect of having a few days ALL TO MYSELF. I won't have to cook for anyone, get anyone (except myself) ready in the morning, listen to whining, sleep with the windows open, etc... I don't think I've been alone in the house in 5 years!

I'm throwing a party. Mostly it's a going away party for H, but it's also something we were inspired to do with all the food we ate in Barcelona.
I just heard about a Rachmaninoff concert this weekend, so I'm hoping I remember to go to it. It's awesome having our symphony back, but I don't remember to buy tickets until after the event.

H is home for a few days. We're going to see The Avengers, have dinner with the ILs, go to a friends graduation party on Saturday. Sunday we're hanging out with my family then going to the beach. That's already way more than I typically like to do on the weekend but H is really excited about being here and wants to squeeze in as much stuff as possible.

(sorry that turned it to a bunch of word vomit)
Ahhhhhh, parents/in-laws can be just...sometimes, there are no words. I feel for you. Good for you to trying to focus on your H and not freak the heck out because, that is some ish. That they blatantly lie (obviously they feel they are pushing in on plans, otherwise, why lie??) is whack. You guys DEFINITELY need/deserve the alone time (just the two of you after the girls are in bed, obv) and the time with the girls in your new house that you just spent the last 2 months setting up! I'd be enraged. I am ragey for you.

I love hearing about your awesome travels. For reals.

Flattery will get you everywhere, but I'm afraid it might be too late for you to hop on a flight for my party
I try to stay fairly quiet about my travels, but if you like to hear, I'll update more when I'm in Singapore and traveling all around SE Asia. I still have no idea what plans I'll have, but I have a passport and local discount carriers, so hopefully I get lots of crazy experiences!
