Back yard is (almost) done!

This was our back yard:



Wisteria along the left fence, a few trees at the back, ivy and a palm tree on the right. Scraggly grass with lots of weeds and tons of concrete under the dirt.

Now:




No more trees at the back, fake grass has been laid and the beginnings of a narrow raised bed on the right. We'll be putting in a few more sleepers to raise it even higher (hopefully puppy prevention), put in a water barrier plus dirt, and will use it for veg and flowers. I definitely want to get rid of the ivy as much as possible as it's so invasive and annoying. I'll probably do most of that this autumn in preparation for the spring.
