Wow, your bathroom looks great! I can't believe it's even the same space.
It was pretty hideous before lol. I'm so glad you updated it! I like the vanity a lot, too.
It was terrible! And it was cold even with the heat on, and damp because it was right on the concrete, and tiny, and just all around ugly 1970's builders grade.
Things are moving a little slower now that a lot of things are finishing touches like paint. We did get the fireplace done so I wanted to share some updated pictures. H doesn’t love the way the mantle turned out so may make a few tweaks (it was built in place) but it won’t be anything spectacularly different than what it is now.
We’re coming in to the final stretch. Still have a bunch of punch-list items, but they’re all little things like painting the front door and putting on door knobs and new hinges. The cabinetry in the pantry and the stairs refresh will be getting done at some point in the next few months, but we need a bit of a break. Otherwise, the foyer and dining room are pretty much done.
Dining room listing photo:
Dining room now. New floors, new baseboards, painted, added crown molding, new rug, new window casing, and new light fixture. The wall color is SW Opaline and the trim is SW Pure White. The buffet and corner cabinet are being painted over the winter. They were my grandmothers and I love them.
Foyer (two different vantage points, sorry). New floors, new baseboards, new closet and front doors. Paint color is SW Requisite Gray but was actually painted last year.

Everything looks so good! Not to give you MORE stuff to do, but since you guys were handy...when we had our renovation done we squared off and framed out with wood an archway between two rooms and it looks SO much better. Yours is already square (the one between the kitchen and the dining room), so I think it would just mean edging it with trim all around.

I did think of that before, but not sure it would work. We have 4 openings/doorways which includes the new one to the pantry, but only two of them I think that would work. Both opening that lead from the foyer, one side goes in to a wall, instead of the end of the wall. Not sure if I’m explaining that right so here’s a picture.
