My current skincare routine hasn't done much for the blackheads on my nose. I've read that retinoids can help. Anyone have a recommendation? My current routine is all Paula's choice except my cleaner but I'm open to any brand. Thanks.
Why non-prescription? I recommend getting the good stuff from your doctor! It works so much better than OTC products.
Thanks. Mainly b/c I don't really have a derm right now and I don't feel like trying to get established as a new patient right now. My bandwidth is pretty low.

I use a combination of TO azelaic acid in the morning and Cosrx BHA at night. I’ve worked up to daily use, but you need to start slow.
Prescription wasn’t really an option for me for a lot of reasons, but this has made a huge difference. When I slack off or run out, my pores get visibly clogged again.

My derm recommended Differin, which you can get at Target and is cheap.
I’m a huge fan of Paulas Choice retinol and actives, because the other ingredients minimize irritation better than anything I’ve used from Curology or Rx retinoids.

I second Differn.
Also, if you have a PCP, they can probably prescribe it to you retin A, as well.
ALSO, depending in your age, retin-A isn’t covered by insurance so us Good Rx to find the best price. I am getting mine for $35, without a coupon it could be double or triple that cost.
I've been using a glycolic acid cleanser twice a week and it's helped a ton with congestion/clogged pores. I've had hardly any extractions at the salon.
