I have shared before my goal to give away 100k this year. I am at 66k so far, which is exciting!
If you have suggestions for any of these categories, let me know: - getting out the vote in underserved areas - support for farmworkers (already donated to Central Valley farmworkers, protect farm fieldworkers and the Monterey country food bank - recurring) - Covid relief for Black, Latino and indigenous communities - Black and Latino entrepreneurs
Does NFPs fit in entrepreneurs? If so, have a look at Mothers Against Senseless Killing (MASK); www.facebook.com/maskontheblock/ or www.ontheblock.org/about. The animal rescue I volunteer with has been partnering with them this summer for food and pet pantries, but thats just one thing of many that MASK does for its community.

That’s great! In Florida, felons have recently won the right to vote again, but only if their court and legal fees are paid, leaving many felons unable to vote. The Florida Rights Restoration Coalition is currently using donations to pay off the debts of felons so they can vote.
konapoppy, question, if you feel comfortable answering.
Are you donating to only tax deductible organizations or any organization? Or some sort of percentage of each?
I am an open book on this topic! No, I am not only donating to tax deductible orgs. In fact, the vast majority has not been deductible.
1) I believe in paying my fair share of taxes, so I don’t mind not getting full “credit”.
2) My focus is wealth redistribution, and often that means giving money to specific individuals. For example, I have given tons in scholarships to recipients directly.
