I am waiting to get an MRI of my leg. My hip surgeon happens to specialize in the type of tumors I get due to my genetic disorder. The last time I saw him he said he might be able to remove some from the same leg I'm having surgery on! I'm excited, they have grown so much this year they stick out. I do have really bad MRI anxiety however so I'm losing my mind a little bit. I have Ativan to take and it's the biggest machine around so hopefully I will make it through!
I am so happy to see rain outside, I hope it can help some fires and smoke. Hopefully we can find something to entertain ourselves tomorrow and then I work Sunday. After that I'm off for a week (we were supposed to be in Asia š«)

Tomorrow the realtor is bringing us to the house to take measurements. We want to order a new couch for the family room but need to make sure it will fit! Also, I need to start planning out that walk in closet!
Sunday my mother is driving up from Bonney Lake to work on Postcards To Voters. Probably for Cal Cunningham in NC.

Iām gutted about RBG, but so relieved that we donāt have smoky air anymore. I slept with the windows open, and it was glorious. Iām so grateful for rain.

I'm so happy that the smoke is gone. I haven't done anything outside so far due to my current bizarre awake schedule, the rain, and being devastated by Friday evening's news on RBG's passing.
Today I'll be watching a lot of NFL games, and hopefully getting out to walk my dog (Conan) during one of the halftime breaks. Go Hawks! I hope I'm able to stay awake long enough to watch the end of the game.
BlondeSpiders, did you get the house?? If so exciting!
We had an AMAZING weekend backpacking the Enchantments with my sister and a group of her girlfriends. Drove to Leavenworth Friday and weren't sure we'd go (our permit started Saturday) because of the smoke. A big thunderstorm came through Friday evening and cleared the air so we were good to go. Logged 24 miles and almost 7,000 feet of elevation gain over 3 days, 17 of the miles with a 35lb pack, but it was worth it for the gorgeous scenery and quality time with some badass women.

Our loan has been officially approved, so that's good. The appraisal has been scheduled for next Tuesday and then the appraisal offer next Friday. Pretty sure we have it in the bag but there's still all the paperwork to sign.

Thank you! Other than a panic attack after the RBG news it went well āŗļø. I really want to do the enchantments sometime, sounds amazing.

James and I went to Kansas City last weekend. While walking to dinner, I fell and broke my ankle. James had to call 911, I was in the ER for 7 hours until like 1230a. We stayed in the hotel and drove the 4 hours back on Sunday. All this week, I was at appointments and finally had surgery yesterday. I guess it is a horrible break (in 3 places). I really donāt want to know about all of it, so the docs have all given James the grotesque details. Anyway, Iām in bed. All.the.time. Pain meds are working okay so far. Iām thankful it is the weekend so James is home, donāt have to worry about Tmanās school, and my work isnāt piling up without me being able to get anything done. I hope to feel up to working by Tuesday for at least a few hours.

Oh my gosh! I hope recovery goes well and you'll soon be able to be up and about at least a little bit.

Holy crap! Wishing you a speedy recovery and the ability to move around sooner than later.
