Hello! Long time home and garden lurker who is starting a renovation project. Bought a 2/1 craftsman in the SF Bay Area in April. Adding a second bathroom, relocating washer and dryer from kitchen to the back, and extending one or both bedrooms.

This is the first major construction project I have ever been involved with so I am nervous. They say it will be 6 months of designs and permits and then 5 months of Construction which seems insanely long to me.

We are getting our first set of designs next week and I am sure I will have some questions along the way! Here are some pics of our house!
