I live in the northeast, and my work commute involves a drive plus about a ~20 minute walk in the morning and at night in an often windy area. In the winter I wear a 3/4 length down coat, and in early fall/late spring I often lean into the casual in business casual, and wear a fleece jacket like this:
or an unlined rain jacket.
Yesterday was one of those gross 40 degree and raining type of days, and it reminded me that I really need something for that kind of weather, which we have a lot in Oct/Nov/Mar/Apr. A rain jacket with a sweater isn't warm enough, and my fleece and rain jacket don't layer well. Plus I'd like something that skews a little more professional (although business formal is not necessary).
Does anyone have a lined/warm rain jacket that they can recommend? Bonus if it comes in petite lengths.
I've been perusing the Lands End outerwear sale and this seems like it might work! Fleece lined raincoat and it looks like it comes in Petite. I might need one of these too.

I love these ones from Title Nine - I almost bought myself one when I saw they were on sale ($89), but I also know we don't get many rain days here in my state. I think they only have small left now.
I have an Eddie Bauer shell that covers driving rain very well. As I live in the PNW, it gets well used. We do not get as cold as the east coast, but the jacket alone was good to about 40° and heavy rain. If I put a heavy sweater on under it, I was good for another 10°. The most important thing I have found is that you need a jacket to cover your butt.
The Lands End sales were great, but I felt like none of the jackets that fit the parameters that I wanted had much shape to them. Boo. I have a down coat from LE for winter and it is great.
