Do you have any silicone heat protectant mats or anything under your countertop appliances? (toaster, air fryer etc). I have heard quartz is great but one thing to be careful of is heat.
We had quartz at our old house and loooooved it. Same as PP... I would just clean it with whatever I had on hand. Certain cleaners might leave a bit of a haze (it was a pretty white quartz with little specks of color), so I'd go back over with Windex to give it a shine.
Zero issues with heat. We used potholders and trivets for hot pans and such, but nothing under the toaster, etc. I've never heard that before.
I clean with whatever cleaner I have - Spic and Span, Clorox Cleanup, Clorox wipes.
Same, I have quartz in a bathroom and it's usually Clorox wipes.
I also have a matching quartz shelf in the shower, so it gets hit with whatever Tilex type cleaner I'm using on the tile in there. Seems no worse for the wear.
Don't have quartz, but looked into it for the future. Have read that you can use pretty much any cleaners, but heat CAN damage your quartz. You shouldn't really put hot pans right on it. marble.com/articles/quartz-vs-granite-heat-resistance
I use granite cleaner on my quartz but have also used Clorox clean ups.
For hot things, I read that quartz can be sensitive to heat so I put hot things on a trivit and if I’m using an appliance I out it on this ikea cutting board that’s super thick

I have a white quartz pattern and use all sorts of cleaners with no issue. I even use Soft Scrub on set in stains like wine or pasta sauce splashes I miss right away.
