I’ve never said that word in my life, but when DH mentioned Hickenlooper and I said Cory Gardner, I had to pause to make sure I didn’t say his “full” name.
Seriously. I’ve never said that word in my life, but when DH mentioned Hickenlooper and I said Cory Gardner, I had to pause to make sure I didn’t say his “full” name.
Whenever I'm reading something, or watching the news, and he's just Cory Gardner, I'm like....who? wait...OH RIGHT, Cory FUCKING Gardner.
It is still so sad to me that there’s this many (or ANYONE) who votes for someone who stands for what Trump is, stands for and has done in the last 4 years.
Right?!?! Like, who has he converted? Who either sat out or voted dem in 2016 and saw the last four years and is like “give me more of this!”
I really don't want to stay up for more results, but I'm also afraid to go to sleep and wake up to find that the worst case scenario happened like last time.
Regardless of who wins, America is still really freaking disappointing. Who are these people who want more of the last four years? Disgusting.
As a former Texan I feel compelled to point out that El Paso--a huge D area with strong voter turnout this year--is on Mountain Time. It's the only part of Texas not on Central. Those votes aren't factoring into the totals you're seeing right now, and they are going to be big in for Biden.
Also, EP is the best and the rest of Texas only wishes it was as warm, welcoming, and full of heart as El Paso.
I’m only to this point in the thread, but I worked at UTEP for 3 years. Absolutely fell in love with El Pasoans. And all my Mexican students who crossed the international border every day to go to school. ♥️
