I have a Senate question... 

The most likely path to ousting McConnell from senate majority leader was to win enough seats that he loses the majority.  We didn't do it this week.  So say Warnock and Ossoff win their run-offs in January.  The Senate will then be 50/50, with Madam VP (shivers) as the tiebreaker, handing the majority to the Ds.  What happens with McConnell and Schumer's roles in a 50/50 Senate?

Just spit balling based on my work in the state legislature: if it’s 50/50 then the vote for Senate leader would be broken by the VP

There is no majority leader in a split Senate. VP presides and only votes in case of a tie. Kinda sucks TBH.

I grew up in the Pittsburgh area, went to college on Long Island, NY, and now live near DC, so it isn't at all reasonable that I've always had a soft spot for Philly. All the reason I could ever need is in this thread though, lol!

MSNBC reporting that new batch of Arizona votes from Maricopa only broke for Trump at 53%. He needs 59% of the vote to overcome Biden. So while Trump is gaining, he's not gaining enough.

Trump picked up only 53% of the new Votes (needed 59%) to stay on track to be close to winning AZ.

This is AMAZING news!!

They are finished with the late early ballots and are now counting the mail ballots that were hand delivered to polling places on election day, which are much more favorable to Dems. AZ news guy says ballots remaining are 2/3 from Maricopa county, and even with that, at the current rate, it does not look like Trump will overtake Biden.

I totally want to take the day off and party so hard now!!!!
