I'm really starting to believe now. I can't believe this nightmare is over. I still remember the sense of dread waking up in 2016 and then remembering that it was only for 4 years. Well 4 years is here.
I feel the same way! I’m in shock and have been happily crying off and on all day. I am so glad the nightmare is coming to an end!!
I heard them say yesterday on I think NBC that it just takes so long to bring everything to the counting location since everything is so far away. And then they don’t have as many people to count.
Yes. A lot of mail in due to remote locations you can only reach by plane and then wherever they count the votes can only be reached by plane or boat so all ballots have to be transported there.
The FAA has set up a temporary flight restriction over Joe Biden. This is common for the President/ Presidents-elect but not for candidates.
Yes. PDQ I work with a member of {redacted} political family who has had front row tickets to this show before and they don't do this unless you have the full belief of the military that you're the president-elect. When I saw this announcement I had legit chills down my spine.
I keep imagining they are making sure there are safety plans in place before calling anything, as depressing as that is.
Agreed and I actually find a lot of comfort in that. They are going to wait until there is a safety plan in place and hopefully someone is able to keep Trump in check.

Agreed. I have suspected this for the last day or two, that they are being exceptionally cautious because of the volatile and litigious nature of Trump and his team. They have to be. It's been agonizing, but I appreciate that they appear to b e leaving absolutely no opening through which the legitimacy of the results can be questioned or overturned.
