Window treatment questions

In my office I have two double mulled windows. One of them is on a very short wall — I have a 24” booked case basically wedged between the window and the wall. I eventually want to do built ins around the window with a window seat.
Would it look weird to have drapes on the other window but not the bookcase one? If I added drapes there it would cover half the bookcases and just look odd. But the other window is just on a regular wall and needs drapes.
