Here's one link from the results thread, I'm going to go through and find the others. Feel free to add any organizations doing letters/postcards/texts or fundraisers here:
A friend in Georgia said the group she's in is really promoting sending cards/letters so they are postmarked in the state in order to dissuade frustration with outside influence.
If you want your cards postmarked within Georgia, you can send your stamped, ready to go cards/letters to me and I will mail them to my friend to drop with USPS. Just PM me if you want to send them my way.

I live in Georgia too and am happy to send for people!

I really agree with this. When I lived in dc I wrote VA postcards and I drove to va to send them out.

Add me to the chorus of people who strongly agree with this. Voter postcards is a cool idea and probably more helpful than harmful overall, but there is a large contingent of people who are super salty over outsiders meddling.
They could use financial support for sure, and there are opportunities to volunteer as well. Their headquarters is in ATL but they organized and got out the vote in 12 states this year, including MI, PA, MS and AL. If you are looking for an amazing Black-led Southern grassroots organization to support, please consider!

Same with calls (for a lot of reasons) - if you do a phone bank from your own phone, get a google voice number with a GA area code.
Hey, I posted New Georgia Project which is also hers!
True. I'm just obsessed with Fair Fight. It's the lawyer in me.
And, like you, I want people who want to help to plug into what's already in existence and has been shown to be effective (and, btw, lead by Black women), rather than reinventing the wheel and establishing competing organizations.

God yes. Iโm fighting with so many people on FB who want to come in and show us how itโs done. No. We have people who know how itโs done. Support them!
So Iโve never done this before, what should I be ordering? Like are blue envelopes or certain postcards best? I have no idea what Iโm doing, but I have a printer (and not great, but legible handwriting).
They'll send you letters through email that you need to print out and sign, stuff and mail.
So we can print them out on the computer? I am going to do this either way, but not having to use my really crappy handwriting would be great!
I am not sure what the Sierra Club letters are like. I can speak to the letters Vote Forward sent for the general election. You have to write in the voter's first name, write a couple lines about why you vote (keep it non-partisan) and then sign your name. The rest is a form letter.
