Do you know which organization you want to write through?

In general for letters you will need printer/paper, envelopes, pen and stamps.

Some organizations provide postcards. Not sure if any are doing that for this special election or not.

@@@my granddaughter decided to help out with my postcards, but wanted to use her Flair pens. There were a few unsalvageable postcards when she accidentally got them wet. Man, that ink runs. It was a good learning experiment though  I did cry a bit since they sent exactly 200 postcards and the unsalvageable was for new voters. (I'd done new before prior voters rather than simply go down the list. Nothing like making things a bit more difficult than necessary. I'm some kind of special.)

For vote forward, I noticed people were doing all sorts of fun colored envelopes when they posted on social media on the big send date. Anything to get people’s attention to open it. You need printer, paper, pen, stamps and envelopes. I helped a friend with a postcard campaign and I think I the org. sent her postcards, then she ordered some from Etsy with cute patterns on the picture side, then she ordered some from amazon because she needed them quickly, and they were sort of generic white with red and blue postal look.

I wrote Vote Forward letters for the presidential election and look forward to doing more for the GA runoffs. Colored envelopes are a good idea! I used white because that's what i had, but I'll ordered colored ones once I decide how many to write.

I also want to donate to one of Stacey Abrams' organizations. Does anyone think one or the other would be better for this particular race? Both seem good, and necessary. Maybe I'll split it between the two.

Vote Forward has updated their page with new info.

The first group of letters for voter registration are all already gone. I think they just released them today. They said a Vote by Mail letter will be coming soon.

Postcards to Swing states has postcards open. You have to buy them this time, the list gets emailed to you.

Postcards to Voters also has addresses. You supply your own posts cards and stamps.

I am a member of a local group sending postcards. I don't know which larger org they are affiliated with. I am thankful that the lead person is taking care of all logistics with arranging postcard design and getting the names.

All I had to do is buy stamps and write. We are suppose to be getting our stuff this weekend.

isabel dcn I'm working on my Sierra Club letters and they have moved up the mail date to Dec 8th because of early voting. Can I mail my letters to one of you? Maybe dcn since you're in GA and it's one less step? If you're ok with that, can you PM me your address?

Yeah, send to her if you can. I really need to get it together with those this weekend because of the new deadline.

I can still take them if you can’t get them to her, but you’ll need to leave extra time obviously.

This! Living in a state where you feel like all the postcards and calls come from out of state, you start getting pissed at both campaigns. Send money to local groups, not cards and calls.
