As many have with COVID, I've spent more time in the kitchen than ever before. I have also spent all of my "going out" money on decorating parts of my home that I've ignored for a long time. I am become slightly obsessed with the Hearth & Hand line from Target.
So much so, I can't even tell if I want this KitchenAid only because of the name. I can't tell if I love this color or secretly hate it.
Thoughts on the color? Thoughts on this type of KitchenAid? I only own a $20 handmixer from Walgreens that I got as a gift when graduating from college.

I LOVE the color. And I am tempted to sell my big Kitchenaid to put this one in my new kitchen. I am just worried that it might clash as our Kitchen will have green island that is more lighter in color. (PPG Paints Lottery Winnings is what the island will be painted).
I have had a bunch of problems with my KA Artisan mixer, and didn't realize how common that is. It's gotten a lot worse lately, but I was never 100% satisfied with the head-tilt model.
I am splurging on an upgrade to a 7 qt. Pro Line this holiday season. It's not entirely necessary, the Pro 600 would probably have been fine, but I will enjoy it. I would really recommend considering at least jumping up to the Pro 600 bowl-lift if you are going to get a mixer. The Pro 600 comes in some pretty colors too, although not the exact one you're into of course. My dad has a Pro 600 with bowl-lift and I like it so much better. I would never buy a head-tilt Artisan again.

I love the color/matte, it's sort of natural/industrial looking like a lot of H&H stuff. I've always wanted a kitchenaid, but if I splurged for one, I'd probably go with the glossy retro version in a fun color because that's what I've always envisioned. My mom has one and I love using it but don't have the counterspace or bake enough to justify it. You definitely need to treat yo'self to a new mixer!
I have a KitchenAid and love it. I strongly prefer the bowl lift.
Mine is a matte black and I’m really happy I chose it. We’re now in our 3rd house with it. It’s not trendy and fun, but I love that it’ll always match everything. I don’t think they last quite as long as they used to, but my mom has one that I think is 30+ years old (I’m pretty sure it’s actually much older as it was old when I was a kid and I’m 40). Lots of colors have been in and out of style since then! Mine is almost 15 years old and showing no signs of slowing down.
