I finished my last progesterone pill on Friday so I'm hoping this will bring on a cycle. My last cycle my lining was to thick at baseline so FET was cancelled. Used provera to force a cycle and at baseline lining was still to thick plus a cyst so I took it upon myself to do progesterone. Because of PCOS I don't ovulate so unless I force a cycle it'll be months before one ever comes on.
I'm debating how many to transfer though - I have 5 frozen on day 3 and my dr is allowing me to do all if I want. I'm torn between 1 and 2 though. This will be my 4th transfer.

Your doc will transfer 5?!
Given my age and the amount of failed transfers he said he would. These are also untested and frozen on day 3 instead of being pushed to a blast. I'm pretty much just going to do 1 or 2. This will be my 4th transfer from 2nd retrieval. My first retrieval was 4 embryo's all of which failed to implant.

We're in a holding pattern trying to decide whether to go straight to donor eggs and leaning heavily that way. I'm switching insurance January 1 to get some fertility coverage, so we're taking a break to not stress right now.

I’m not doing donor eggs but we are doing donor embryos. So if you want to chat about that, let me know.

thedutchgirl , we went the donor egg route. Happy to chat if you ever want to!
Thank you! Did you go through your clinic's bank or another one?
Our clinic had its own program that we used (you could also find your own donor of you wanted). The process was a little different than I've seen at other clinics; you filled out some paperwork and you got put on a waiting list. The third party reproduction team met once a month to match donors with recipients. It took a lot of the stress off of us of having to find a donor and sign up for her right away before somebody else did. It did make the process a little bit longer because it took about 3 months to get to the top of the waiting list but it was worth it to us.

That does sound nice! I agree that the stress of finding someone seems like a lot of pressure! I'm old (almost 43), and I never even tried to get pregnant before this year, so I don't have much room to talk about the ongoing stress of infertility. But it's a real thing.
Welp my lining check wasn’t great - the tech thought it was around 8 but she could only get 1 good picture/measurement. So they’ve increased my estrace and I go back for another check on Monday.

I just went through this, but my recheck was good.

Hello, Just checked with my local clinic and we think we will be going with them. (Just moved late summer so we have been talking to and looking for a new clinic closer to where we live). So now I am looking at shipping the embryos. It is 700 miles from our last clinic to the new one. New clinic will get is in a transfer cycle in January. They do batch cycles 4 times a year

I have done up to 3 from day 3 embryos. Good luck deciding
