Intro and Office Help

Im not so new but I frequent WP board..So we are buying a new house and here is a picture of previous owners office/guest room.

I will still need room to multi task as guest space for now. I want my office area to be in back area of room where book case is.   In other words the office chair back will be where book case is now and any work storage will be in closet.

I want to put a convertible sleeper couch where desk is right now. Do you see any other way to design this space? I am sort of a minimalist in design and want red accents. 

Any free websites to design layout? Any idea to incorporate red. I am ok painting entire wall by bookcase and door same color like an accent wall in the room.

What a nice bright room! Hard to tell from the photo, but could you put the couch where the person was standing to take the photo? Not that I think putting it where the desk is is bad. How wide is the room? If you put the couch where the desk is and it was opened as a bed, is there room to walk around the foot of the bed?

I'm terms of incorporating red, what about a red couch? We have a reddish pull out couch in our office and I love it. Also, our pull out has an inflatable mattress and is so much more comfortable than a standard pull out mattress - especially after having it for 10 years.
