3. Are you hoping to score any Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals on baby stuff? Are sales in your area mostly online or are stores doing an in-person sale too?
4. How is baby prep going? Anyone else feel like they add multiple 'to-dos' for every one item you complete?
25 weeks, team blue! Saw my OB last week and she's changed her tune to delivery via c-section at 38-38.5 weeks instead of more or less right at 37 so long as BP remains low and my placenta isn't causing any issues. We're starting monthly growth/placenta check scans next week.
2. Rants, raves, feelings?
After a reprieve from daily puking I seem to have returned to this unfortunate place in the last couple of days. Although one was caused by finding a some curdled milk that had to be cleaned and hubby wasn't around to do it. MIL has offered to pay for a cleaning service to come and deep clean to help us prep which I'm pretty stoked about!

We have all the big stuff but I'm hoping some odds and ends will go on sale (nose freida, blackout curtains, frames for the gallery wall). So far it seems like sales in my area (Ontario) are mostly online, and in-person ones are being spread out to avoid too much in-person congestion. I will not be going to any in-person sales this year.

DS1 went to MILs for the weekend and we were able to get the nursery painted and mostly set up which is a huge to-do off my list. I still have to get some prints framed and decide on the layout for the gallery wall, etc but it's really coming along! My friend is dropping off all her sons hand-me-downs and some other baby stuff this week so I'll have to sort through that. The next big project is going through all our cloth diapers from DS1 and figuring out what needs to have the elastics replaced, etc. I'm hoping to have all this kind of stuff and the nursery fully finished by the end of my Christmas break so I can spend the last 7 weeks or so doing some freezer cooking, etc.
1. How far along are you? 11+2 (kid #2) Team? Green
2. Rants, raves, feelings? Tomorrow is my second appointment - time has gone quickly, but I am ready to make sure things are going well! We plan on announcing on Thanksgiving, which is good because there is no hiding that I have a sizable belly at this point.

Should I be? Anyone have a good deal to share?
So question for the group - anyone have a good list of things you need for #2? Honestly I can't think of much other than new pacifiers, and consumables like diapers/wipes/cream/bath things. DD is 2.25 so we've kept everything. We were team green that time too and had a lot of boy hand me downs that she wore, so even if this is a boy we will be good for the first 3-6 months, so we have time.
The only thing I think I want is a double stroller. We have the cruz, but I think I want a vista. I want a used one though because I know DD will be 3 when baby arrives so realistically we only need it for a year. We live a pretty walkable life (when not in lockdown), so I think we would use it a bit. Then I can re-sell and go back to the cruz. But I am open to other opinions - like is the piggyback board good enough on the cruz for a 3 year old?
Other than FB marketplace, any other ideas for where to get one used?

Again, what am I supposed to do for number 2? I have 6 months to potty train DD, but baby will probably room with us for a good time - DD was with us until 1. We don't really have another room, so there is no rush or place to put DD. I guess wash the newborn stuff in the attic? What am I missing?! Oh, we will upgrade our 13 year old beloved rav4 to a minivan in the spring, but I am in to rush to spend that $35-50k now - unless someone knows of a good black friday deal on a van!

onthemove, you could look at my registry if you wanted
I went with minimal new gear, yes to things that go in mouth up to feeding phase, breastfeeding supplies for me, some bath, things to transform room, a Hakka
Don't register for clothes...you and people will get much better deals just shopping with sales and coupons
1. How far along are you? Team? 31w, 3 days - Team pink!
2. Rants, raves, feelings?
I'm just tired and sorts of sore and achey! Work is busy and I'm very much looking forward to the long weekend. We are going to finish up DD1's new room this weekend - it's painted and has a new ceiling fan but I needed to order a new curtain rod and some extra panels. Those all come this week so then we will move her in! We are going to do the nursery and order all the baby stuff we need in early January after the holidays are over. I'm really excited about about having two finished rooms for my sweet girls!

Nope! Or well, probably not. We have all the big stuff for baby but if something on my list comes up on a good sale, I'm sure I'll order it. I'm done with Christmas shopping other than Santa presents for DD1 and stocking stuffers - I did all my shopping online, which I usually do anyway lol
4. How is baby prep going? Anyone else feel like they add multiple 'to-dos' for every one item you complete? We haven't really done much but it's not making me too anxious, oddly enough. Probably because we have a plan to bring up all the baby stuff we need right away after Christmas and order the stuff we need/finish the nursery in early January. I'm not even feeling rushed about the nursery because DD2 will sleep in a bassinet in our room for the first several months.
onthemove, My list for baby #2 isn't that big. We need new bottles and pacifiers since we tossed DD1s. I want a Haakaa. Other than that it's just swaddles, bedding/decor for the nursery, some winter stuff since DD1 was a spring baby (long sleeve onesies in smaller sizes, fleece newborn sleepers, winter car seat cover, etc). The only big thing we need is a dresser for the nursery. We kept everything from DD1 (2.5) so we have so much baby stuff in the basement, including toooons of girl clothes! Maybe I'm missing something but I think we have more than enough to get buy and the rest we can get as needed. Also, we potty trained DD 2 weekends ago - it went so much better than expected! We still use pull-ups for nap and bedtime but its nice to know we'll only have 1 in diapers... even if the other needs to be taken to the potty all. the. time. lol
onthemove - I've purchased new pacifiers, bottle nipples, upgraded some things I wasn't a fan of with DS1, new socks as @jennistar1 mentioned, more of the sleep sacks I liked, new carseat since ours was set to expire shortly after DS2 makes his appearance (5.5 year age gap), that kind of stuff. New nose frida, better thermometer, etc. Oh and new hooded bath towels that are thick, not the shitty super thin ones that are freezing cold.
I've gotten a lot of hand me downs from friend who have had their last baby, so I'm not having to buy a ton in clothes even so DS1 was a summer baby and DS2 will be a winter baby.
