Despite all the drama and stress, the fact we are 4 months behind, etc, things are moving along and I’m feeling happy. Thanks for all your change order advice. My lawyer husband is negotiating. Thought I’d share some photos. Drywall finished today. Walls primed tomorrow. Hardwood ordered but back ordered so of course another delay. Newest projected move in date is Jan 28.
This is a before photo. While it looks nice the porch was actually pretty much falling down and was definitely on it’s last leg

Oh wow, it looks great. They did a really great job of mimicking the features of the original house like the windows and the arches. I can't wait to see the finished job.

Best of luck and I hope you make continued good progress. I’m back at work now and we’re seeing huge delays on construction materials. Makes sense, my neighbour works for a local steel fabrication shop and he was sent home for a full 4 months so a lot of materials production slowed down significantly or stopped outright. I hope you are able to negotiate the change orders. I’m still angry on your account.

Looks amazing!
Im terrified we wont have enough time. We close in December and want to redo all floors, paint entire interior and update all fixtures and re-tile bathroom.
