He gets no points- my lawyer told me to tell him that when he starts talking about splitting the mortgage, I'll start talking about splitting the points, lol. No, he has no access to the card now.

So what's the deal on the mortgage at this point? He's still paying nothing? HOW? It certainly can't be because of financial hardship ::coughplaneticketscough::

Emilie, I can't believe it either. He just doesn't have to pay, and doesn't have to move out. My lawyer has plans for reimbursement in the divorce settlement.

That's just mind blowing. Does he have anything to reimburse you with after the divorce? Could they garnish his wages? You have the patience of a saint. I would've moved to an apartment that I planned to stay in for a while and then stopped paying the mortgage. I seethe for you.

He got a better deal on the tickets using american express. That's what he said.
No, he doesn't have money, but there are other things I'm trying to get. I really did consider just not paying the mortgage, but my thinking is that this is screwing me over for a year or so. Foreclosure would screw me over for 7 years. When this is over, I want it to be completely over, without anything hanging over my head.
i hope that ratface pays you back all he owes ASAP, but if his wages are still garnished when he's 83 to make up for it, that would also be sweet sweet revenge.

Seriously girl, you're a fuckin' saint (pardon my french!). I can't wait until this is all over for you - you've handled it incredibly well and deserve a happy ending.
