Hi everyone,

Today I am going to do my weekend 5k for a virtual series I signed up for. Then I will do the daily workout for the Pretty Muscles workout.

I have lots of laundry and cleaning to do as well. 

What are you doing?

Good morning! I am going for a quick 5k in the park here once I feel awake enough and the temp has gone up a bit. I may do some work (not a necessity though - yay), clean the downstairs a bit, and start a new book I got for Christmas, The Nickel Boys.

I did a gravel ride and then ran some errands. Next up is a nap!

I ran 5 miles earlier, in the bitter cold. Then i had to go to Walmart to pick up som things for dinner. Once I got home, being as I was still cold from my run, I spent a fortune online buying some new winter running gear. Since it doesn’t look like I’ll be back to running inside anytime soon, I decided I needed warmer clothes,

Did yoga and a run on a nice sunny day yesterday.

Woke up early and did an hour HIIT strength workout that was killer. Then me and H got out for a brunch/ day drinking date. We found a cocktail bar that transitioned to outdoor only with an alpine ski theme and awesome warm drinks.

What did you get? I am in MA and need new winter running pants. I had some from Fila last year that I loved, but my fat ass and thick thighs wore holes in the crotch on both pairs.

melmel48 ,I bought some Nike tights and gloves. The one pair of tights probably won’t be super warm, so those might go back. Nike is the only brand of running tights I’ve found that stay in place properly, so I decided to just buy them instead of buying a bunch of knock offs I’d have to return (which is what I usually do and why I have no super warm ones!)

melmel48 I also bought some running gloves from Costco last month that are pretty awesome. I am not sure if they still carry them.

My friend has a Costco membership. I can ask her to look the next time she goes.  BJ's is closer to me, so that is where my membership was.... I should probably renew it.
