HA leggings became my go-to for basics. They have held up awesome for us, and, like Hanna says, can even be passed down from kid to kid. Now DD1 has mostly grown out of Hanna. Anyone have a basic go-to quality legging that doesn't cost a fortune for older tweens/teens?
She still fits in Cat & Jack, and those are fine but not the same thickness/stretch as the Hannas. I love those for cheap ones in fun patterns. As I start replacing some of the basics (gray, black, navy) I was thinking of looking for a better brand that would last.

I love the Moto pants from cat and jack, they’re all stretchy, but not legging material and not see through. However I’m staunchly anti legging and only buy my kids a pair at a time. We buy the C9 fitness leggings from target and they seem to hold up.
I also love Primary, but they only go up to size 12 in a lot of colors. Lands End has really good quality leggings and go up to size 16. I shop sales and discontinued colors which makes them reasonable.

How old/tall? My 13 (next week - yikes!!) yo loves aerie offline. They go down to an xxs short (online). I actually love them too, and some of my DD’s friends and their moms are all converts, lol. Usually get them on sale for around 25-30, too.
Turns 12 next week. tommygirl03. She's about 5". Thnx for the rec! I feel like I have to start from scratch again now that she's (mostly) out of kids and into juniors/women's sizes. I remember feeling emotional when I realized she had "graduated" from the toddler section at Target to the big girl section. Now it's a whole new world again!
I’m surprised so many people love primary. Almost every single thing I have ever gotten from them has grease stains after being washed. This phenomenon has happened to two other people I know as well. It’s so bizarre.
My 12 year old loves these from hollister and they have pockets!! She has at least eight in different solid colors and prints. They start at xxs. Sales all the time make them pretty reasonable and they have held up well

This is bizarre. We have several items from Primary and have never had this issue.

Yeah, I hate to say it, but you are probably done in kids for the most part, lol. If I remember right, she doesn’t like bras, right? I highly suggest guiding her to aerie/American Eagle and Hollister. Aerie has cute bras and undies, and maybe that will get her feeling better about them. I can still get my DD1 some stuff in girls, but it totally depends on the style - and nothing too “kid” anymore. Target has some cute stuff for tweens, too - “wild horse” I think? Fortunately, my DD1 is only a little smaller than me, and is wearing the same size shoes, so that’s made it a little easier - she can try some of my stuff and I can use that as a guide to what fits her.
