And my favorite body wash appears to be discontinued, so now I'm going to have to find something new. Bleh.
I really love Puracy if that helps lol. It's plant based, very gentle and I think the citrus and sea salt smells really nice. And I love the refill bags.
That's not, like, an affiliate link or anything.
I'm actually looking to replace a lime scent, so citrus is good. LOL!
How moisturizing is it? The reason I've stuck with my current one for so long is because it has shea butter, and that seems to be keeping my KP at bay.
Luckily I still have about 1/3 of the bottle left, and I have a few travel sized bottles of stuff I want to use up too, so I'm not in dire straights yet.
omg I'm one assignment in and I have to sign up for a trial of an EMR and create a fake practice with three doctors and three nurses. It wants each one to have a different login email address. I don't have 6 email addresses! lol I've already used school, personal, and maiden name so far. I don't want to create three fake emails just to do this, but I guess I have to.
Do you have a gmail account?
I think you can just add a period in random places and it should still come to you, but the sign ups might treat it like a new email.
Or if you happen to have an old hotmail account (and maybe Outlook too) it used to let you create aliases that would go into a folder in your main account.

Hmmmm I would say not very? It's not DRYING, per se, but I wouldn't say it's actively moisturizing.
I’m overly excited that we are making pizza tonight. Pretty much the only good thing about the pandemic times is that we really have nailed pizza dough and pancakes.
Plus I have delegated the making of both to my husband so I don’t have to do anything.
What is your secret to pancakes? They are one thing I just don’t do well, even if I do a mix. I just never get that beautiful brown color.
We have had good luck with this recipe www.bonappetit.com/recipe/bas-best-buttermilk-pancakes but reducing the salt and using canola oil instead of melted butter. Using a griddle pan on the stove rather than a skillet helps too.

I'm so glad it's Friday. Work has been a day of putting out fires and I haven't gotten anything done that I wanted to. My day started with a colleague getting snotty and raising his voice at me. I have zero tolerance for that and told him as much. He's such a douche and won't listen when you try to explain why something happened. He's too busy pointing fingers, when n the end HE was wrong and dropped the ball. He'll never admit it, but I have the receipts and I'm in the middle of composing an "I told you so" email.
I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy yesterday and it was found I have a hiatal hernia. Now that I've read up on it, it makes total sense and seems like it should be easy to manage.

One of my high school instructors, who is a major pro-Trumper, went OFF on me on FB yesterday because I corrected a factually-incorrect post a friend of mine made. I was really taken aback by it because it came out of left field. This was an instructor I really looked up to as a teen and who was instrumental in some of the decisions I made in terms of my education and career.
He might not have realized who I was (he's in his late 70s now and doesn't fully grasp facebook) because I responded with something about how he had no right to speak to me that way and he actually apologized (not that it makes a difference, he shouldn't speak to people the way he did). But the damage is done now and I'm feeling pretty gutted that he would attack me in that way. I usually take social media breaks when things get rough, which I may do, but I don't want to continue to be the one who leaves when people get shitty.
At least it's Friday? May have to make a drink tonight lol.
So I just realized that the website for one of my clients redirects to a url that misspells their name.
So if it were Amazon, it would be as if you type in amazon.com and it redirects to azamon.com, and then every single link as you navigate the (actual) site is built around azamon.com.
I'm assuming that they built the site around the misspelling, realized the mistake after they were done, but instead of fixing it they just bought the correct URL and redirect it.
It is making me laugh today because it perfectly sums up the way they operate.

Oh a true random, anyone notice that peanut butter whiskey is all the rage as of like 2 weeks ago? I bought DH a nip of it for Christmas as a stocking stuffer, and now everyone on social media is drinking it and talking about good mix options. He joked that we're at that age where you start drinking Burbon or Whiskey, but I think it's also trendy like craft beers and breweries were pre-COVID.*
*Craft beer is still popular, but the other is taking the lead.

Godspeed sproctopus. Potty training was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. My kid wasn’t allowed on the couch without a reusable chucks pad under him for like a month.

Peanut butter whiskey sounds terrible.
... maybe like a peanut butter milkshake with whiskey in it though...
I had laparoscopic surgery yesterday and I am already bored out of my mind. I'm not in a lot of pain but I know I should rest and follow doctors orders for the best recovery. I guess it's time to find a series on netflix/hulu/prime to watch.

I’m in potty training hell right now. It is probably the hardest thing I’ve done so far parenting wise. It suuucckkkss.
My DS is 4.75 years old. Since we started PT two years he always has to sit on a thick blanket on the couch for preciously this reason. As far as I'm concerned he can sit on a blanket on the couch forever.

Fully prepared to send pull ups in college care packages at this point.

This is my absolute favorite pancake recipe! They are delicious and fluffy and they don't get crispy like some other recipes I've tried. They brown nicely and freeze/reheat well. I use butter and a cast iron pan. Highly recommend, mcppalmbeach .
DS2, in the span of less than 10 minutes, covered his chair in his bedroom in Eucerin cream tonight. All over the arms, the cushions, the wall behind the chair... And then he apparently attempted to clean it up with tissues and water.
I completely lost my shit and refused to cuddle with him when he asked. I feel a little bad about it, but omgggg.
I was scrolling through Nextdoor tonight to find a Girl Scout to buy cookies from and came across this post. The hamster was given to someone who commented who had an enclosure and stuff for it because they couldn't find the owner. But Wtf??? How did it get there??
Edited to better expression my confusion of the randomness of this event.
isabel- People leave cats in carriers and dogs tied to fences so I'd assume that it was left if nobody else was there since he didn't get there on his own. Since the post is still up, and if by chance it was a mistake, hopefully the owner will see it. I'd rather it go to a person who can care for it than leave it at the park overnight. What else should they do? If it were a larger animal, the shelters have night drops but if it's been out for a while it needs water/food.

Oh, I wasn’t saying wtf about them giving it to someone who could care for it. That part is good. And she seems to already have a hamster and know a lot about them, so it found a good home for however long it needs one.
I am very wtf about the post though. Like, did someone just let their hamster go? How did it get in the ball and outside? It’s just strange in a way that a lost dog or cat is not.
isabel- I'm 98% someone dumped it and 2% kids brought it to the park and forgot it. People abandon pets in parks all the time. And not just leave them but confine them. There were a couple of cats found in the Springs recently in the middle of a field in carriers. They would have died if someone hadn't found them. I found a carrier over the summer that had had a cat in it with a bag of food and a blanket with a note. Someone must have let him out, which was good because it was over 90 degrees the days around when I found the carrier. People do some shitty, shitty things.

Yes they do.
I grew up out in the boondocks. My parents still live out there. Growing up we never bought a cat for a pet. Just took in 3-5 at a time due to assholes leaving their pets to die.
When I was 7 years old someone left two 2 week old kittens. My mom & dad fed them with an eye dropper until they could eat cat food.
It's been 8 years or so now but my twin sister got her first dog (she now has two) after my parents & her found 3 puppies abandoned. They were tied to a fence post and left to die. My sister kept one dog and found good homes for the other two.
Those are just two of the many stories I have of how assholes leave pets to die.
