Rug suggestions

We just moved a couple months ago so pics are from then. We don’t still have our tree up lol. And the chair is now where the tree was. 

I had bought a rug but I don’t like it and it’s too small. 

Any suggestions?

Love it! We have very similar floors. Things are pretty neutral so far, did you have a color scheme in mind for the rug? Any artwork you're planning? I think you could find something that goes with the midcentury modern look you've got so far, or you could mix it up a little.

That’s basically my whole issue! I haven’t been able to settle in a colour scheme. I have bold schemes in our bedroom and second living space, even the dining has pops of colour I just don’t know what to do here and I think part of my issue is not wanting it to be too similar to the schemes of the other rooms but I dunno if it really matters?

I would say you want it to blend/transition if the rooms are open to each other, so maybe make sure it works with the dining and second living space but the bedroom can have whatever? If you're going bold you could do something like this:

I love the rug that dr.girlfriend posted. Something along that vein would give it a pop of colour that it seems to need.
