I chose 6 panel when we replaced all of our interior doors, and painted them white. I would probably lean in that direction with your cabinets as well, but not strongly.
We recently renovated our entire house and the doors were a big thing for me. I wanted to keep as much original as I could for our 1912 side hall colonial. So we used these doors, which we had several originals of in good shape.
We have dark, wood stained kitchen cabinets and just replaced all of our main floor doors with white six panel doors. I really like how much it brightens up the space compared to the stained wood finished doors that were there previously.
I grew up with 6 panel doors and our current house has two panel doors, which I really prefer, with heavy preference given to how much easier they are to clean.
