I need some drapes made and my local seamstress isn’t working any more. Any recommendations for an online (Etsy or other) shop for custom drapes? Also taking recs for fabric! I was thinking a navy and white or cream geometric print.

We ordered curtains through Etsy from a store called Yellow Raindrops and she did an excellent job. But sadly looks like the store isn't on there anymore.
We also did a navy and white pattern. I think it's called Bailey Trellis?
Oh, wow, can I see the cabinet? I hadn't noticed before but just from the little edge of it I can see it looks beautiful!
It was my grandmother’s 🥰. Someone had painted it an olive green at some point so we redid it in ivory. I am thinking of painting it navy now since it blends so much into the wall. But I may do a floral wallpaper inside the picture frame moulding, too. I’m pretty happy with how well the buffet coordinates with it — the legs are almost identical!

The more I think about this beautiful room the more I feel that some of the lightness might be taken away by the giant curtain rods and panels you would need to cover those beautiful windows. Would you consider doing roman shades instead?

Thank you for your input!! I would definitely consider it. One issue I’ve struggled with for shades (I’ve looked at Roman and woven) is that our original 1921 windows don’t allow for an inside mount. I’m struggling figuring out how shades would look with an exterior mount with the substantial window trim. The other issue is the front window is very large — it’s triple mulled and 90” wide, so I’m trying to figure out if I will have to put 3 next to each other or can get 3 shades on a single header. Any thoughts?

I would do a free consultation with a custom blinds place. IDK if they are national but we got quotes from Budget Blinds and Blinds4Less, and they were very similar and great walking us through all the options. They even had suggestions for our french doors but we decided to use curtains there. In the end we went with the latter company because they had motorized roman shades and we had two windows that are inaccessible (not that we've closed those shades once, but oh well!) We got a natural shade that the light filters through (except in the bedroom, where DH insisted on liners) and I love them, and they are very easy to pull up and down.
