My mom texted yesterday asking if the kids wanted to come Sat-Mon. Um, YES! They love going and we love getting a small break. Typically when they stay over we have some big project we're working on in the house, but not this time. Maybe we will actually get to relax.

It's a three day weekend for me. No real plans, we were invited up to MILs for a surprise party for her boyfriend, but it's H's last weekend before starting his new job on Monday, so we're staying home. But.. plot twist is that boyfriend reached out to all of us grown kids to ask if he had our blessings to propose. So that's happening at some point.

That’s so exciting! H and I are both from large families, and I remember that the first few years that we were together were pretty chaotic while we worked out how to balance everyone. Hahaha.

carrotsmakemefat, Welcome! We were planning on one and done since we needed IUI/intervention. Decided to try one more IU for a one IUI attempt for #2 (FIL passed two days after our shower for baby #1), and now we have almost 4 yo DD and almost 2 yo twin boys. Definitely not expected for my H and I! LOL

katespade, I'm one of 4 kids. Two of us have kids- my parents went from 0-5 grandkids in 3 years (now 5, 4, almost 4, 2, 2) LOL. My H is a huge introvert and family get togethers on my side have long exhausted him. I feel bad because he won't really get a reprieve anymore bc the soon to be new extended family all live local to MIL.
