The Long Way Home (Chief Inspector Armand Gamache, #10) by Louise Penny - 4* Across the Green Grass Fields (Wayward Children, #6) by Seanan McGuire - 4* The Vanishing Half by Britt Bennett - 4.5* Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power - 3*
I really enjoyed the Vanishing Half but thought the ending felt rushed. Burn Our Bodies Down was entertaining enough but the resolution was a bit ridiculous.
Long Bright River by Liz Moore, 3* Mastering the Art of French Eating by Ann Mah, 3* When Time Stopped by Ariana Neumann, 4*
I enjoyed Mastering the Art of French Eating at first, but I soon got bored with it. I thought the author did a good job of writing her father's story in When Time Stopped.
The House in the Cerulean Sea 5* Beach Read 3* Moonflower Murders 4* The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Vampire Slaying 4* Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times 3* A Good Marriage 4* The Office of Historical Corrections 5*
A Spy in the Struggle by Aya de León (disappointing)
Milk Fed by Melissa Broder (not for me)
A Bright Ray of Darkness by Ethan Hawke
You'll Never Believe What Happened to Lacey: Crazy Stories about Racism by Amber Ruffin and Lacey Lamar
A Phở Love Story Loan Le (very cute YA)
Black Widows by Cate Quinn (bad and borderline offensive)
Fly Away by Kristin Hannah (so very bad)
Malibu Rising Taylor Jenkins Reid (old fashioned CA family epic)
The Divines by Ellie Eaton (good, a little odd)
Alright, Alright, Alright: The Oral History of Richard Linklater's Dazed and Confused by Melissa Maerz (the writing between the interviews was very very bad)
At the End of the World, Turn Left Zhanna Slor (really enjoyed it)
Dancing at the Pity Party: A Dead Mom Graphic Memoir by Tyler Feder (good!)
Learning to Swim by Sara J Henry (strange)
After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Passing by Nella Larsen (a classic!)
We Came, We Saw, We Left: A Family Gap Year by Charles Wheelan (really weird and bad)

The Meaning of Mariah Carey by Mariah Carey - 3* The Answer is:... Reflections on My Life by Alex Trebek - 3* The Friend Zone (Game On #2) by Kristen Callihan - 3* The Hot Shot (Game On #4) by Kristen Callihan - 3* The Midnight Library by Matt Haig - 4* In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren - 3*
The Wife Upstairs by Rachel Hawkins 4/5 It was good, just a few things I thought were odd. I figured out the twist pretty early on and hated the main character but I thought it was pretty well done.
The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah 5/5 I just love her books. No exception here. My only complaint after thinking about it was wondering what happened with a certain character. Not a big deal but a question I had afterwards!
My February reads in order of best to worst (in my opinion):
Dark Horse by Michelle Diener 4* The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Dare 4* Helium by Rudy Francisco 4* Rising (#1 in series) by Jessica Ruben 4* A Stitch in Time by Kelley Armstrong 3.5* The Survivors by Jane Harper 3.5* Accidental Tryst by Natasha Boyd 3.5* Nobody Will Tell You This But Me by Bess Kalb 3* Magic Forged by K.M. Shea 3* Devil's Kiss Series (books #1-4) by Gemma James 3* Shadow's Messenger by T.A. White 2.5* Reckoning (#2 in series) by Jessica Ruben 2.5* Heart of Fire by Bec McMaster 2*
tacokick was Fly Away really that bad? I keep debating if I want to read it!
It truly was. It was short and quick but bad. Really hokey. It reminded me of a bad ‘80s Lifetime movie when the daughter has a boyfriend with a tattoo and they are afraid she is going to become a “goth”. But without a shred of camp.

Ugh, that does sound bad haha. Maybe I'll just leave it at the first book!
