Workout Tights

I’m mostly a lurker, but hoping someone here has a suggestion. I am searching for running/gym tights, with pockets, that do not have a stupidly high waist. I usually love Athleta, but they’ve gotten rid of my favorite styles, and now everything seems to have a rise that goes above my belly button and then rolls down(because it sits well above the part of my waist that curves in!). I’ve got a couple pair of fabletics in a mid rise that are ok, but still pretty high. I’m short (5’2”, XS or S), which I’m pretty sure is the problem.

Have you tried the petite sizes at Athleta? I am also short and the short high rise Elation tights from Athleta are about the only things that are comfortable for me.

I have - and even those are still so high! I have a pair of elation capris that are good, so I tried the tights and they are so much higher.

I wish i knew! This is my eternal search. I am also short (5'2), and everything i buy, even petites) seems to be at least 1" too long in the crotch and come up to my ribs. It's super annoying, especially for workout tights since they tend to slide down even further during exercise. Let me know if you find something!

I’m only liking in commiseration! I have a really old pair of Athleta crops (no good pockets, but....) that are perfect. But they are probably considered low or maybeeee mid rise. I so wish they still made them. Even without pockets, they are a constant go to in the right weather.

Have you tried Marshalls/TJ Maxx? They have random selections of tights. High rise is horrible on me, too. Try Felina. They have some mid rise tights.

Also, Amazon has a build your own pair of Core10 tights. I have a pair and love them. I recommend the mid rise or cross waist. They also come in short length.

My favorite tights are Athleta salutation stash pocket. I’m not tall (5’5”) and I don’t feel like the rise is too high. I don’t care for very high rise tights. I also have the All In crops, and I like those a lot. However, mine are from previous years. I don’t know if they changed the fit this year.

I have some Beyond Yoga tights, and the rise is super high on those. I would avoid those.

I like CRZ yoga brand and baleaf that I've ordered from Amazon - they have some mid-rise options. I have multiple pairs and they've held up well to washing.

Senita Athletics has a mid-rise capri legging- the break free capri that is a mid-rise waist

I've also had luck at tj maxx or marshalls with 90 degree reflex, rbx and nike brands for workout gear
