A teaspoon of powdered Tide and a gallon of super hot water. Use a microfiber rag. It’s a tip from Go Clean Co and works really well. If that’s not your normal detergent, you can get a travel or sample size from the store or a laundromat for around $1.
I’ve done Murphy’s oil in hot water, but my cabinets are not the fingerprinting kind and they’re pretty old and damaged anyway. LOL
It did bring back a little life in then though. I definitely noticed a difference.
we used this on our cabinets and then went to have them painted and the murphys oil definitely left a film. Just something to consider in case you don't want build up on your cabinets.
Go Clean Co also recommends dissolving a dishwasher tab in hot water and using that. I've done it and it works great. It has degreaser in it making it easier to clean.
I use easy off kitchen degreaser on backsplash and we used it before painting our cabinets. It did a great job but I don’t know about routine use on wood cabinets.
