It's official

I got my transfer orders and unit of assignment. I'm going to fill a squad leader position in an MP platoon of a HQ element. Basically, we do the personal security for the command team. My first drill is in July(they're heading out for their two week AT next week) and apparently they're full of brand new Soldiers fresh out of training. I'm pretty stoked.

And, I start the new job Monday!

Thanks! I'm pretty excited too! Now hopefully DH's unit will stop toying with his promotion so he can drop his packet to transfer over as well.

On a unrelated note, I am not sure if you ever updated, how are you feeling? I read a post where you were having some numbness/ tingling issues from your car wreck.

I think I did but I don't remember, lol. The tingling comes and goes. I took Dh to urgent care for his shoulder and was talking to the dr while he got an x-ray. The dr gave me the name of a neurosurgeon that he knows takes our insurance. I have an appointment with him next week.
