Started this one in March, finished in April! I'm so happy with it. Such a lovely little pattern. eta: oh boo - that's actaully a video of shorti spinning in the dress, but it looks like it won't load as a video. curses.
I bet that twirls great! So bright and sunny. My DD would love that dress.
I’ve started my rainbow stripy socks so hopefully I am done in April. I did sew up another Grace Top from Friday Pattern Company which I think is my new favourite. They are a very flattering fit for me, and I love the mock neck/ cowl situation going on up top since it means I don’t have to finish the neckline! Major win!
I love those mala! I bet they smell great too. I really would love to make bar soap considering I am not allergic to it, so it would be handy to have around (I’m allergic to most liquid soaps). Hmmmmmm. So tempting to dive into a new project. I bet my DD would enjoy it as well.

I am an enabler, gonnna say that up front.
I for YEARS said I wasnt interested in trying to make soap. It did not appeal to me at all even when I started playing around with lotions and chapstick and whatnot. I dont even remeber what prompted me to try it the fist time, but I did and I was HOOKED. It's been at least 6 years and I havent purchased a single bar of commercial soap because I have so much I've made. I decded that with my job sucking my soul from me it was time to start setting up a shop to sell with the goal of making enough to do it full time. (Still in the works, but these bars are all going up for sale when the time comes)
So. I think you should try it. BUT make sure you're really educated on lye safety and what can go wrong before you do.
Also, now I want to know what you're allergic to, but you don't have to share if you don't want to
And, fragerences are (in no particular order), Smell the Rainbow, espresso, anise/orange/mint, peppermint vanilla, juicy pear, leather, cherry vanilla. I think that's all the photos I put up.

I’m allergic to formaldehyde, which is a common component in water based preservatives. There are about 20 types of preservative which I am allergic to, such as Quaternium-15 and DMDM hydrantoin which are the most common.
DD always loves making bar soap from the kid's kits- one day (when she's a little older), we may have to get into it. I'm always amazed by how long bars last, and I love making soap dishes so it would be a nice pairing.
Another random crocheted bear- I make them and throw them in a box in the hopes I can eventually get back to volunteering with "my" preschoolers.
DD dyed the sparkle sock yarn for this little G.O.G.E.E.- he's knit on 00's, it's fun to knit such tiny things. I had to change up the pocket quite a bit, though- the original pattern calls for a double layered pocked (knit like toe up socks), but it's just too thick to be of any use at this scale. These glitter eyes are such a monster to install and always look cross-eyed in pictures, but they are really sparkly in person (so worth it, I guess LOL).

Hi fellow crafter who mostly sews. I enjoy seeing all of your projects.
I finished a scrappy quilt and a some quilted Easter baskets so far this month. imgur.com/a/s8fWqtJ
I am struggling with up loading pictures lately through the app.
Nice projects!! I have the Tapatalk app only for uploading photos, it is easy. I reply and read on the website.
My Tapatalk gives me and error every time I try to upload a picture for the last 3 months. I have just given up on it but I found out last night I can do photos from my ipad.

I made 2 things this weekend. Some stickers for my work calendar (yes I still use a paper calendar!) and Jennifer Maker's Cricut "tool bench." it looks decent, but it is janky AF and will probably fall apart in a month.
I started a new project that isn't going to be done for a loooooooooong time so i'm posting here just to mark the start and to solicit sympathy because I have regrets - MH wanted a blanket. But he needs it to be big enough to cover his whole not small self. We determined based on testing with other blankets around the house that he needs 60x72.
But he wants lightweight...but also no holes so I can't just go with a open pattern or chunky yarn like I originally planned. So....I'm making a 60x72" blanket out of fingering weight cotton blend like a goddamn chump.
I calculated based on my progress over the first two weeks and this will take me at LEAST 6 months. Lolsob
This is the inspiration...except I'm making it bigger (and my colors are more aquas. I don't have a single picture that shows them true to life)

Wow wawa. That is a commitment of love. I still haven’t made DH a sweater or well anything since I always think of the boyfriend sweater curse. Also by the time I ever finish anything that big I just want it out of the house.

I've made a blanket this big once before (with much heavier yarn) - for a boyfriend. who I then dumped. So.... but too late now! it's started!
It helps that I really really love the pattern and yarn and I'm dying to see how it comes out when the colors start shifting. He'd better like it!
I finished quilling 2 more wreaths. The first one is for a friend and the second is my fall wreath.
Those are amazing. I don't think I've ever seen wreaths like that in person - they're beautiful from afar, but when I zoom in the intricacy is really astounding.
