DC Mother’s Day brunch?

Anyone have any recommendations for a MD Brunch in DC? Tried to look at articles that pull lists together but a lot are old and/or the restaurants haven’t posted any menus yet.

There are tons! It depends on what you’re looking for exactly. I recommend checking out the bitches who brunch website and filtering by what you want. Their recommendations have been pretty spot on based on everything I’ve tried.

Thank you. I’m not picky. I do need pancakes/Belgian waffle/chicken and waffles or something like that for DS but the food options kind of suck where I live so anything will be good.

Founding Farmers is great.
Their sister restaurant is Farmers and Fishers and has a great view.
Sequoia is also great on the Georgetown waterfront.
Busboy and Poets is great too.

Not the question you are asking, but we have found holiday dining/ takeout to be spotty/long waits, even more so during the pandemic. My advice is not to go on Mother's Day if you could do Sat instead of Sun it will be much better.

I found Busboy and Poets when I was at a research meeting in DC and I think I ate there every other meal!  Wonderful food.  It helped that it was just around the corner from my hotel!

We are getting one of these in my town soon! It is pretty close to where I live, too. I had never heard of it until recently, but I am excited to hear that they have good brunch! It sounds like a neat place.
