@sadlebred oh no! Food poisoning is the worst! Hope you're feeling better now.
Friday-weights with a HIIT finisher
Saturday-rest day. Lots of good food, coffee, and naps.
Sunday-20 mile skate with a friend.
QOTW-no, but both mine and DHs allergies go nuts this time of year. I dont even know what we're allergic to, but the runny nose and burning eyes are just misery.

Fri: glorious rest day Sat: 6 miles of intervals Sun: 3.5 mile run
Yes, we have the pollen season here. We are currently in a lull, so this weekends runs were amazing. I’m sure the next round of trees, flowers, and bushes will be blooming this week, so it’ll be back to runs where I gasp for breath and want to die 5 steps in.
Thanks lilypad1126 and @peep! I managed to eat some tomato soup and a grilled cheese just a while ago. Small victories. I can also eat English muffins or toast with jelly. and apple juice.
Fri: 5 easy Sat: 15 Sun: so much rest (and a 4-mile walk with a friend)
QOTW: not nearly as bad as it used to be in TX. I did notice the small pond by our house has a layer of pollen on it though, so it’s no wonder my allergies were acting up last week!
sadlebred, glad it sounds like you’re feeling better! Food poisoning is the worst. 😬
Also not really related to the WW but I didn’t want to start a new thread...
I’m signed up for Grandma’s Marathon (6/19) and still a little worried it won’t be held again this year. Due to that, I also signed up for Twin Cities Marathon this week, which is run the first weekend in Oct. If both end up happening, I’ll only have about 3 weeks off between now and early October. What was I thinking???
Fri - ran 3 mi Sat - ran 8 mi during DD1’s practice Sun - walked about a mile, yoga 30 mins
The pollen isn’t too bad here, and/or I just don’t notice it because I don’t have allergies. That’s one potential benefit, anyway, to growing up on a farm!

I'm eyeing Twin Cities as well!
Dooooo it! I’ve heard great things about it and it’s supposed to be a fast course! 😁
ETA: plus, Minnesota in the the fall is beautiful.
Fri: 30 min Peloton + abs Sat: 45 min Peloton + abs Sun: 30 min yoga
There’s definitely pollen and a green layer, but I don’t get super bad allergies so it’s not bad. My H on the other hand is a disaster in spring and fall....
I'm feeling a little bit better. I managed a sourdough English muffin with cheese for lunch. Dinner of recovery stomachs will be Honey Nut Cheerios since that it what sounds appealing.
