My son was born in December and I have two birthstone items with a blue topaz. They were marketed as birthstone jewelry so I didn't specifically pick it, but it's a very pretty stone!
DD (November birthday) is all about pink and is so offended that the pink stone is her brothers and hers is yellow-ish orange. Explaining the concept of a birthstone to a 5 year old was more complicated that I expected lol

December baby here - all birthstone rings I've ever had were Blue Topaz.
Susie - I was trying to design a mother's/grandmother's bracelet for my mom and it was so weird how all the kids and grandkids had a green/blue birthstone with ONE red thrown in, and it wasn't a great look.

My birthday is in December and I wore a blue topaz ring until I got engaged (I wore it on my left ring finger, I guess because I'm left handed? I don't know).

Oh my daughter is November so it’s not the best combo but it is meaningful to me so I’m going with it. I was looking at blue topaz but then googled yesterday to make sure and blue topaz wasn’t even listed on many sites so I was having second thoughts. Thanks!

I also wanted a stacking ring but pearl (June) was likely my last choice. So I went w sapphire (boy) instead. Figured if we had another I would go with a light blue or pink sapphire.
So, go with what you like. It can still have meaning.

I haven’t completely decided. There are tons of options on Etsy. I was leaning towards paying a bit more and getting good quality rings made with gold but there are a lot of options under $100 if you want sterling silver. This is the pair I was leaning towards (the seller said she could replace aquamarine with blue topaz) but now I am rethinking everything, lol. etsy.me/3nuYvt0

Now I’m considering a diamond band for my daughter (citrine birthstone) because diamonds are a girl’s best friend? and sticking with blue topaz for my son.

My first two kids were ruby and emerald, so merry freakin Christmas. My twins are December, that’s blue topaz I guess. Still not a great combo, in my opinion. I would like to get a piece of jewelry for each stone that I would wear separately.
