I have so many. One of the first things I did was paint these knotty pine built ins. I can't find a better before photo, but this is just the left side of the fireplace.
Susie , what color is that teal in the guest/hall bath?
SW Blue Peacock. It’s a really hard room to get a good photo of, because there’s no natural light. IRL it’s darker like this photo, but maybe not quite this blue, more teal.
PDQ pics. Left is before; right is after but we hadn't yet painted the screen door. I wish we'd kept the old storm door, honestly. But we're happy with the new covered portico.
ohgillian, what color did you paint the screen door? Was it hard? I'm kicking myself for ordering white instead of black to blend in. But I can't say anything to DH because I don't need the I told you so's....

The same as our trim. I can try to take a picture and post it if you want. Our designer was adamant against a screen door because she felt it was not going to look as good. But we love having the door open for airflow, and so we wanted to screen for that.

That would be great. Our door is black, but the screen door is white. We have painters in doing the halls and kitchen now. May see if they can do the door as well.
JayTea our painter really didn’t want to do it because he wasn’t sure it would take. But I convinced him to and it’s much improved. Will try to get a pic tonight.
I wouldn't say our front yard is finished, and I think at least a couple of the plants died over the winter and will be replaced. But here is my front yard before and after. It's a super small townhouse yard that I turned basically into a garden.

For our COVID project we added a lower patio to our yard. We have a decent sized city lot and live on a very popular street for walking. We love seeing neighbors and people walking but also wanted an area that was a bit more private so this was our solution. It isn't the final "after" since we're still waiting on the patio furniture. The sectional and chair that are there now are from our deck.
Before the area was half wood chips (used to have a play set here then switched to the trampoline) and half very old concrete where we had a basketball hoop and 4-square court (we temporarily moved the trampoline to the concrete area while cleaning up the woodchips, etc.).
After (until furniture comes) is a sitting area with a firepit and an outdoor kitchen with a wood burning pizza oven. Plus a hot tub tucked behind the wood slat wall.
ohgillian Do you mind me asking the ballpark cost on your front portico? We’re thinking of doing something similar one day to our brick colonial.
