I WFH once a week prior to COVID. My boss was insistent that I was in the office 4 days a week, even though it was 100% unnecessary. I worked on the administrative side of a lab (a tissue bank, not a research lab) and managed clinical research staff in our outpatient clinics. But I was always a remote manager as we worked in separate buildings. Anyway. My lab was back in service in May 2020. The clinical research staff were mostly at home, and any non-clinic jobs (like mine) were remote.
I have no idea when I would have been back in the office - the earliest estimate was June - but my job was eliminated earlier this year. I worked in the office a few times after I got vaccinated, mostly to assist my staff.

We went back last July to one person in the office each day, rotating M/F. In August '20 we returned on an alternating weekly schedule (2/3 and then 3/2). Each office in the institution did something similar. Some did a cohort-based model where one cohort each work one week in the office and one week WFH.
We go back to once a week for the summer and then its full time everyday starting August 2nd.
Not back yet, talk of phase on before what is expected to be crazy on the Metro post Labor Day. Expecting around July 1? We had one day a week WFH before, now expecting 3. I can live with that. My hope is that as the director of my team that I can set a tone of take what you need and we can all be in one day a week together to do whatever we need to do.
Supposedly I’m hosting an even for 80 in August.
My husband was hired in May, luckily left his last gig a week before lay offs. He works for a health care like company and expect to never step foot in that office, ever. They are looking to sell the space. Unsure who would even buy at this point!
I started at a new company earlier this year and am 100% remote in this role, but the office I may go to a couple times a quarter is still closed outside of essentials with no return date in site. Same for most other sites globally for this company.
Old company is also still almost 100% remote. I doubt they'll be back for a bit yet.
We are expecting to be 100% back in office by June 1. They made the announcement the week before vaccines opened up to everyone. I did the math if you got your vaccine on the first week then you would be fully vaccinated but otherwise you were not. I had scheduled mine that Friday but I am scheduled a week before the waiting period ends.
We have been advised to wear masks when away from our desks. However, not required at the desk and we work in an open office floor plan. The job is talking on the phone so far more risk than I'm comfortable with.
Supposedly, we will be following a social distancing plan but I don't expect that to be a reality. Currently they are but half of e employees are working at home. Several people have quit and I've considered it. The job is awful for many reasons and working at home was it's one advantage.
I am a remote employee all the time but our company announced this week that they aren't planning a full return to office until 2022. July there will be an optional return where it will be open but no one will be required to go even if their job is usually based in the office. 2022 is seems will be the change, though they are saying they will be making things more flexible long term.
We are tentatively planning some internal events (my job) which will be hybrid for summer, giving people an option to attend in person or virtually depending on their comfort level. No one would be required to attend in person for 2021. Our winter sales meeting in 2022 I think will be the first "you have to come" internal event. We shall see.
My office still has not announced the return to office plan. We never fully closed, but I have been mostly WFH since March 2020. My office would like to mostly reopen this summer. Probably on a rotating schedule. I am not happy.
My H’s office permanently closed in Janauary and he WFH.
I SAHM but DH has been out of the office since March last year and expects a mid-June return. Upon return his work week will permanently be three days in, two remote (previously 5x a week). Everyone on his team is fully vaccinated. Over the past year his direct team of four has meet three times for off-site outdoor masked meetings.

Replied for H, who is still 100% at home. I have to get Beckett a bottle approval for an in person meetings with clients or coworkers. He will have his first patio lunch with coworkers in a few weeks, as one of them is still awaiting his second dose. Last we heard there has been no discussion about re-opening the office yet.
Stil no end in site over here. I won't be returning to work from maternity leave till some time in early 2022 but there currently still isn't a timeline at work but things are a bit of a shitshow here.
We had additional periods of a half-assed WFH program from August to October, and then again February to April *after* we were crushed by the winter surge. 🙄

My industry is considered essential. Our offices never closed but we did go down to a skeleton crew in the office with most employees working from home. They are going to allow us to work from home as long as we want to at this point. I choose to go into the office two days a week and plan to keep it that way for the rest of the year.

Our campus is reopening July 6, but our team (recruiting) isn't schedule to return until October. I'm kind of pleased about that, even though I moved 5 minutes away from work.
It depends on your job, but I was fully remote for a long time, then in the fall I went in 2x per month. I had no childcare in the winter so I did not go in at all January and February. Now I am going 1x per week. It is supposed to increase again soon, so we are told but no details on when or how much. I am just hoping they wait until summer camps begin.
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

I started a new job last week. It’s a fully remote position.
My last job is likely back 100% full time. It was at an institution that doesn’t close. We did hybrid with split teams from April through Nov when I left. My guess is after vaccinations, they brought everyone back in. My main source is on maternity leave, so I’ll get the low down when she goes back in early summer.
H was docked his pay from April-June because we couldnt make it work childcare wise with him not being at home. He worked fine from home, but leadership was shit. He got a new job in July and has been remote since then. I think they will ease back in starting in September, but will be able to be at home part of the week.
I work at a large media company that is essential. So while were sent home last March, some positions couldn’t WFH and have been in the office and it has been open to those who need to go in for something or if they want to work from there. As of right now our return to work date is June 1, but it has been changed repeatedly. I think it could be pushed back again, but also CA is opening up. So who knows. The corporate emails all say that not everyone will be brought back immediately. My position is 100% on the computer and I work at a remote office anyways, so I don’t anticipate being forced back asap. My office is small and hours away from the GM. I think the GM will be more concerned with Sales and the people at her location returning than me who she never sees anyways.
I wasn't sure how to answer. I went back in July but was redeployed back home 3 days a week, 2 in the office in November. I may have to go back full time in the office soon but no date for that yet.
