It made me realize that I will go from mid third trimester to early 2013 with no sexy time. In all of our planning, and talking...this is the first I really realized the length of time. Then to go another 6-7 months without it after getting it back for a month, LOL. I need to start looking at Adam & Eve, yo.
Well at least you should have an easy PP recovery.
True story. Though, instead of being hounded for a beej until the glorious 6 wk OK (not that we made it all 6 wks last time, but anyhoodle), I'll be worrying about getting some of the LBs off for a wedding that is 2 months after Q is born. And then obv for his leave!

Just don't be one of those chicks who thinks she'll be a size 4 two months after having a baby. Lol. It's always easier to take a dress in, there's only so much you can let out. Don't kill yourself to fit into a dress.
This happened at my BFFs wedding and it was a nightmare. We ended up take a color swatch that the bride had used to match the chair covers and pinning it to the back of her dress so you couldn't see the giant gap where her zipper wouldn't close. Lol.

I was never a size 4 after IJC so I am certainly not expecting that after baby 2, lol. But I'd be lying if I said I hadn't already cursed at the fact that I am just NOT one of those girls that bounces right back into super awesome looking body-mode. But I'm ok with it. That's why I had her measure exactly how I am now, knowing if I do luck out (for my body) and the measurements are smaller at 2 months PP, then it can always be taken in. But like you said, going out isn't as easy. And, my cousin was SUPER thoughtful since her sister will be 4 months pp also and she went with a more flowing gown. It's beautiful.

I'm really tempted to make something like this for Quinn, or just a plain tule tutu, with a soft pink top and cardigan, tights obvi. Or maybe yellow. IJCc is going in charcoal dress slacks, a white button up and I haven't decided on a tie color yet. If Quinn goes in yellow top, he may go in a yellow tie.

that dress is awesome for PP. FWIW, the weight came off from #2 much easier - i'm 7 weeks PP and have 2lb left.....but i only gained 20lb this time (because i was on my feet -12-16 hours a day 5-7 days a week for work and didnt get to eat lunch 80% of the time). Now IO have to get rid of the 30 I kept of the 60 I gained with #1
