We are considering a September trip. I know it is hard to tell what September will be like, but does anyone know pre-covid how this stuff works:
1. How late is Volcano Bay open? Right now, it looks like it closes at 5 or 6, which seems really early to me.
2. Are Halloween Horror nights held most weekends? Do you get kicked out of the parks at 6:30? Is it all 3 parks?
3. What is it like to walk from Royal Pacific to the parks?
4. Anybody have a favorite travel agent?
5. I assume hotels hold you luggable prior to check in and on check out days if you have park tix, correct?
We went to Halloween Horror nights a few years ago and loved it. It's only in the original Universal Studios and you must leave that park on event evenings unless you have a separate Halloween Horror Nights ticket. If you have park hopper, you could move over the Islands of Adventure. We went early in September and they were already running the parties, so yes I think it's every weekend from late August up to halloween.
It's an easy walk from the Royal Pacific to the parks, plus they have boats that come pretty quickly and work well. You do the security screening at the hotel before getting on the boat or on the walk over, so once you arrive at the parks you move right to the park entrance.
The hotels all hold luggage for the day and have a good system in place.

I have no idea about park hours or travel agents.
This is very helpful. We have no interest in HHN. But it sounds like this isn’t going on at IOA, so we could do our nights over there. We definitely will have park to park tix.
