Birthday for 9 y.o. boy

DS will turn 9 at Disney. It's our last day there but we're not leaving until 7 pm. We don't have park tickets for the day. I know he'll want to swim- any other suggestions for things to do? I was thinking maybe Disney Springs and lunch at T-Rex and then taking him to the lego store to buy a gift (the kids usually spend a lot of time building and racing the cars there but not sure if that is open?) We plan to minigolf earlier in the week. Some of the other things I would think of are currently not open (like the pirate adventure cruise, booo).
