Covid ticket rules

I can’t seem to find the answer to my question when I Google.

Does anyone know how Disney is handling tickets purchased in early 2020?

I have three tickets I intended to use last April. I purchased them in January 2020, so prior to Covid. Obviously, we haven’t had a chance to use them.

Also, does anyone know if I could convert Disney World tickets to Disneyland tickets? Somehow that seems less daunting than flying cross-country ...

Do you have the tickets in your MDE account? If you log in and view the tickets, you can see what the expiration date is set to. I think Disney automatically extended expiration dates. If the tickets have expired, you can apply the paid value to new tickets that cost at least as much money. I don’t know about switching to Disneyland; I would call to ask about that.

Ah, thank you!! I don’t know why I didn’t think to just log in. My new expiration date is September 26 so that at least gives me something to plan around.
