It’s back - Marathon Monday!

I’ve seen a few people mention it, so let’s bring it back and hope a few people can participate! In honor of Grandma’s announcing they were officially a “go” I’ll start it. 😁

What marathon are you running? When?

Where are you in your training? How far was your long run this past week?

What marathons are on your bucket list? What has been your favorite so far?

What marathon are you running? When?
-Grandma’s Marathon, June 19th

Where are you in your training? How far was your long run this past week?
-I have 5 more long runs to go! This past week was 15 miles, next week is the first 20. 😳

Vent / Issues?
-I’m feeling strong and mentally I’m good, but my hamstring is being bothersome. It’s going to be a wild card this whole training cycle.

AW / highlights?
-my 10 miles at pace (of my 15) went really well and felt do-able! I kind of thought sub-4 would be a long shot when I first started training again, but I think it’s there.

What marathons are on your bucket list? What has been your favorite so far?
-Well obviously Boston. But I would also love to do Marine Corps or NYC at some point. Maybe Chicago since it’s fairly close now? My favorite was Shamrock in Virginia Beach. It was really well run, a fast course, and crowd support was great. And I PR’d in 20mph winds, so obviously it’s a fav.

Same as WNW, I'm not quite in marathon training season yet. Excited to see how your plan worked for you, I'm also contemplating gunning for a sub-4!

I think unless I get into Boston through my running club again (got in for 2020, but it obviously did not happen), I am done with marathons. I love supporting everyone's training and races though!

Nope, I really need to get on that.
When do you find out about Boston? Are they doing another drawing?

When do you find out about Boston? Are they doing another drawing? 

I haven't heard how they are deciding; it is annoying me.  I don't know if there will be a lottery or drawing. 

I did get an email from the club saying they are not giving me an automatic waiver for this year if we do receive them from the BAA. I will have to enter the lottery or whatever way they decide to do it.
