af1212, RockNVoll, For some reason I thought they only had ugly ones, but that's not the case! This is a great option. Do they slide around on hardwoods or stay put? I'm so tired of that damn mat moving across the room.

We have the LL Bean mats at all doors. They stay put on hardwoods and (ugly) linoleum. I am constantly vacuuming them - but I look at it this way - all that dirt is trapped there, rather than all over the house!!!

I have a large one inside the door we enter daily and it doesn't move. Just got one for outside our front door, too, and haven't had that one long at all but so far it definitely is staying put better than the cheapy one it replaced.
If you have an LLBean outlet near you, there were a bunch in a clearance area as of a couple of weeks ago.
I have that one. I like it - it doesn't seem to move tremendously. It has some rubbery backing. If a dog with a lot of momentum went over it, I could see it slipping.

We have LLBean waterhog mats in our foyer, and they stay put. Not on hardwood, but on a smooth laminate floor. In about a week I'll know if they slide on the hardwood floors in the new house, lol, but I expect no.
If you are looking for a doormat for inside (I was thinking outside when I first read it), we got one at Pottery Barn that was less than the $55 one you initially posted, was custom made to the size we wanted, and has a no-slip backing attached to it. We loved it so much when we got it for the entryway, we bought one for by our back sliding door as well.
I've never heard of them but I like them! I've bought all sorts of random things advertised on IG and so far so good. I think LLBean mats are ugly so I'd buy what I like.

I’ve been looking at these too. We have water hogs, but just don’t like how they look at all. I was looking at chilewich, they are just so expensive, was going to try this instead.
I know this thread is 2 years old, but I thought I'd update in case anyone cares. I finally ordered 2 of the Port & Hall doormats in Graphite last week after pondering them for 2 years LOL. They are great! Thinner than I thought, but it's good because the doors will glide nicely over them. So far they seem to stay in place well (definitely better than what we had) and they are CUTE!
Oh! And I ran the roomba and they still stayed in place!
