BQ: Pool! I love the pool! I don't have easy access to one, so I was excited to hang out in my friend's back yard yesterday with good friends and new friends at her pool. I also love food, ice cream, water melon, pasta salad, cole slaw, all of it!
My knee/hamstring/potentially LCL(??) has been irritating me, so I have taken several days off, aside from driving several hundred miles on that leg this weekend. 🤷🏻♀️ Hoping to do some pulling only swimming in another day or so though...
I love the pool. It signifies summer and community to me, and both of those are my favorite things!

Fri: Rest/walk 5 miles Sat: 10 mile run Sun: 4 mile run Mon: Rest/4 mile walk
Besides all that cardio I spent the weekend packing to move. Ugh.
My birthday is in August, so my favorite summer food is birthday cake, haha. But also, I love hanging out at the pool with a cold drink and "pool snacks" (which is really any easy to eat finger food).
Fri- Rest Sat- Nothing, it was pouring rain all day and I was hanging with my family in NH Sun- 2 mile walk with my Aunt Mon- 2 mile walk with my Aunt
Favorite summer activity is swimming in the lake when I visit my family in NH. It was cold and rainy this weekend, so that didn't happen and I was very bummed out.
I did some Tabata bodyweight workouts and miles and miles of beach walks.
Im on my 2nd of 2 back to back vacations. Time and days have lost all meaning. Thursday, when i return to work, my regular diet, and normal workouts is going to be ROUGH.
BQ-all the summer fruits and veggies, everything grilled, getting up with the sunrise to take advantage of the coolest part of the day, followed by long lazy days hiding out from the heat of the sun. I love summer. Favorite time of the year, even though it is absolutely brutal here.
Very late - Friday - 5 mile iced Coffee run (i.e. group run starting at coffee shop, ending with iced coffee. best part of my friday) Sat - 1 hour run, 1 mile open water swim Sun - 2 hour bike ride. OUTSIDE BY MYSELF ON ROADS. Huge deal there - i've been avoiding that lik ethe plague and it was wonderful and not at all scary. I did almost end up in a 4th of July parade by accident. squeaked off the route past everybody staging just in time. Monday - REST DAY. AHHHHHHHH
Swimming or boating! Open water or pool, I'm just happy in water. I will happily float around all day every day.
