I don’t know where DS came up with this one because we don’t know anyone by this name. He still says this one very confidently. Otherwise his other cute words were mostly dropping syllables and he’s grown up from most of them.
When my daughter was little she called velcro "scarecrow". We were dressing her doors once and she kept telling me to put the outfits on and she'll do the scarecrow. I was so confused, until she showed me. than I thought it was the cutest thing ever. When she was 3 we went to Disney. She called Aladdin's Magic carpet "The Flying Jasmines", the carousel "the roller coaster" and It's A Small World "the singing dolls".
I love these lol. Also why are so many kids saying excavator? Is it in a show or something?
Not Blippi for us, but lots of kids love construction equipment. The best day of my sons' young lives was when we had some trees removed and they had to use the crane to swing over our house. There are also lots of books for kids with big trucks (like Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site).

My DS(5) has been obsessed with construction since he was 2. Recently he's changed his obsession to Rubble (the construction dog from Paw Patrol).... so still construction. He just started watching Paw Patrol in the last 4-6 months.
DD1 calls the video monitor the "momiter". She also has a toy abacus and used to mis-pronounce it "ass-kiss" which we found hilarious and then had to pretend not to lol I also just love the stuff she hears and then repeats. Like when she gets frustrated you can hear her go "What the heck!?" and after watching lots of Bluey she sometimes will ask "For real life?" and we now pay for things in "dollar bucks".
