We listens to Hunger Games as a family but started back on Memorial Day weekend on a road trip But had to take a break because DS2 was upset about one of the deaths more than the rest.
I’ve been falling off on audio books lately which is where my book number boost has come from the last few years. Maybe when the weather cools down.

Better luck than June when I had a long string books I was looking forward to but didn’t end up enjoying. A lot of books about women in deserted places/backpacking/the wilderness coming out this summer.

I read 4 books which is my monthly goal.

Great Circle by Maggie Shipstead - 4.5* I thought this was excellent but I wasn't really prepared for all the abuse. 

Death at La Fenice (Commissario Brunetti, #1) by Donna Leon - 3* A perfectly good mystery but nothing special. I'll keep reading just for the setting. 

The Witch's Heart by Genevieve Gornichec - 4.5* This was definitely my favorite of the month

The Other Black Girl by Zakiya Dalila Harris - 3.5* This had a lot of promise but didn't quite work for me. I'd still read future books by this author.
