"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
I love the 2nd one! It needs a bunch of cosmetic updating but looks solid and has character. The first one is cute but idk. That's a crap ton of work to get done in 3 months. And whomever designed the laundry room has never done a load of laundry. What's with those long skinny shelves?
You know, the... bareness (?) in these photos on both houses is throwing me off. I can't recall ever seeing a listing in my area like that unless the house was brand new.
That house is lovely! So cute! But that office is a lie, lol.
haha what kind of office do you expect in a staging?
Yeah, that probably has something do with my second comment. Where I'm at, there's a ton more decoration, bordering on clutter, in house listings. It's weird for me, seeing listings like that, and I can't decide if I like it. It's harder to get a sense of what the house looks like actually lived in.

Yeah the house is staged and not lived in. I think it obviously looks better staged and not looking at other people’s crap- but it is hard to see how the house would really be lived in.

im wondering if my H would even be able to bend over in there to pull laundry out of my he machines. It’s a very skinny room.

The second one has such weird camera angles, makes me wonder if the rooms are oddly shaped or something. Or maybe bc the furniture is very sparse, way more than I’m used to seeing in staging photos. The outside is so cute though.
The first one is beautiful, the second one you’d have to do a lot of work to get it to where the first one is.
I need ham like water Like breath, like rain I need ham like mercy From Heaven's gate Sometimes ham salad or casserole or ham that’s free range, all natural I need ham

The camera angles are very odd. There is one pic where the table looks like it was made for hobbits.
I love the first house! The second is really neat architecture but way more work than I'd want to have to put in.
Wait, this house in Austin would be over a million? I thought Texas was cheaper.
Not Austin!
In general, Austin is still cheaper than Long Beach. This style of home is way more common in California than Texas though, so I could see that finding one of the few (respectively) redone bungalow-style houses in Austin could be pricier.

These are both in my LB neighborhood The one on Molino is in the coolest area, so I'd take some renovations for the location. The one on 9th is cute, though. I love the little bungalows in that area. It's density done right.
