I'm looking at a house near us and they've posted both "regular" photos and super-slick photos and it's a little hilarious the way it flips back and forth. It hardly seems like the same space.
It's like, "Sorry, we could only afford the fancy retouching for three of the 20 listing photos..."
I kind of see what people mean about potentially being disappointed when you see the house for real when photos are so nice, though!
Why on earth would they post the fancy and regular photos of a single place in the house?
This is probably flameful, but I feel like the role of realtors is much different - and easier - than it was decades ago. How can you not get the listing, including the photos, right?? It's sort of like, "You had one job!"
My mom has lived in her house for 30 years, and the houses are all around 50 years old. There’s been a lot of turnover this summer as prices are skyrocketing and adult children are telling their parents it’s time to sell (not that my mom is listening 🤦🏻♀️)
One neighbor has done a pretty extensive remodel over the last few years so everyone was really excited to see their listing photos. They made my head hurt. So many weird angles and super bright exposures. I couldn’t tell if they were really bad photos or if it was a really bad remodel. Guess it didn’t matter as the house sold the first weekend for over asking.
