Anybody here with plantar fasciitis or who normally wear Vionic shoes for the support also tried Skechers Arch Fit? I'm curious how the support of the Skechers compares. I'm a big Vionic fan and that's pretty much all I wear other than my Brooks running shoes with custom insoles, but I had a pair of casual black slip on shoes from Vionic that I've only worn a handful of times, and they are already ripping where the mesh uppers meet the leather edging, and I'm super annoyed because they were not cheap!

Sketchers have never been great for my feet, but I loved my vionics. That is until I tried Kuru's. I was a bit nervous to try them since they sell online only, but they've been amazing! Great reviews, fantastic customer service (I wanted them for a trip we were taking and they rushed delivery for me) and they by far have been the most supportive shoes I've tried.
When my PF is bad, it throws my hips out. The Kuru had me pain free in 2 days. And, I was able to order them using my HSA card, which was extra great as they're not cheap. I'm planning on getting another pair in a different style.

I wouldn't mind trying a totally different brand, but I just looked at the Kuru site and there aren't any that are really what I'm looking for. The Stride is close, but I don't like the look of it enough to spend that much to try them.

I purchased the Quantums in gray. They're cute but definitely an athletic shoe, not a causal/work shoe.
If the vionics work well for you, have you tried just buying their insoles?
Do you have an in-person The Walking Company location near you? They do a pressure test to see where you actually stand in your feet and then make brand recommendations. I have a few pair of Abeo shoes now and love them, much better than Vionics. The Dansko also work well for my PF.
